WONM Foundation Canada, Clinics for Humanity project was established in October 2006 by, Hon. Dr Sheila McKenzie, Deputy Minister for Politics of Protection of Family and International Community under the International Parliament for Safety and Peace (IPSP), and Dame of Merit Sovereign Orthodox Order of Knights Hospitaller (OSJ).
The mission of WONM Foundation Canada Clinics for Humanity is to develop community support and treatment centers which focus on Oral hygiene, addictions management, pain management, emotional support and life skills counseling geared towards poor women and children.
WONM Foundation Canada, Clinics for Humanity project is endorsed by the World Organization of Natural Medicine (WONM) and the Sovereign Order of the Orthodox Knights Hospitaller (OSJ), Dames and Knights Canadian group.
My first experience in healthcare was as a student of a rural dental healthcare program under the auspices of the Ministry of Health School dental training program in Jamaica.
During my senior year of my training I was given the opportunity to observe dentists’ and physicians of humanitarian medicine works on the SS Her Majesty’s Hope Medical ship for one month. That experience left an indelible impression on my consciousness and a desire to be involved in humanitarian medicine to help suffering mankind.
As a registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) with over twenty four years of experience and a doctor of homeopathic medicine and medical acupuncturist I use all these skills to provide humanitarian healthcare in the areas of Oral hygiene healthcare, addictions management and lifestyle management
WONM Foundation Canada would like to establish an addictions management and treatment program as a part of its community Clinics for Humanity endeavors. This first out patient treatment centre will be established in the city of Toronto as a pilot project. The focus will be on a comprehensive and integrated Mind-Body-Spirit approach to the treatment of addictions and co-occurring disorders.
Under WONM Foundation Clinics for Humanity™ Canada, doctors and Practitioners administer “free” Natural and traditional medicine healthcare services, geared towards poor.
